>Sad I used Access password to reveal a username 'raul' and ID 'H********8********r' in an Access database I need unlocked. I went through the procedure in the help file:

- Run MS Access without any database.
- Go to Accounts setup (usually, it is in Tools | Security | User And Group Accounts), Users tab.
- Create a new user with 'raul' name (without quotes; just type that name in "Name" drop-down combo box, and press New button). Access will open a new window with two fields -- name ('***' will be already there) and "Personal ID". In the second one, type '***' (also without quotes) and press OK, if this name already exists - delete it first.
- Close Accounts window with OK and exit from Access.
- Run Access from the command line with the '/user' option, i.e.:
MSACCESS.EXE /user

When attempting to opent the database, i still get the error that i do not have the permissions to open the file.  I think this database is lost. Can you help?

Very Happy As mentioned in program: “Unregistered version shows only 3 characters of the password and UserID. Others are hidden with '*'.To get all password characters you should register your copy.”

Trial version mostly intended to check our program on databases with known passwords, users, IDs and decide to buy or not  Cool.

You have to order Access Password Pro-version to work with user-level security.

I purchased and registered the standard version. Can I upgrade to the pro version?

1) Sorry for the delay. As you can see we made our forum as fast and useful as we able to. Dancing
2) Sorry again, we distribute all three versions as independent products. Let’s say so “Registering Std version you receive Lite for free” and so on… We can upgrade current version only during 3 business days since registration (taking into consideration possible user choice error).
3) Whatever the case this product worth the money! Exclamation
4) Sorry for the inconvenience again. Pray
