First, I used the password software to retrieve an old outlook password to open a pst. file. However, it does not give the true password. I have another old application that used the same password applied to outlook. How can I find out the real password and not just the scrambled letters/numbers?
Second, how can I get a password used to sign on to a computer? |

1) This is normal situation. Password for PST file is stored in truncated and encrypted way which excludes any ability to find it. So we can only find a combination of characters which will help you to open you PST file. Some times this combination of characters is equal to the original password, but most of the times it is not.
2) We can try to help you solve this problem, but concerning 3 points:
- Operating system version and build;
- Is auto-login enabled?
- Login which needs password;
Also we would like some kind of approvement that this is legal action. |
