I am using this tool and trying to open an excel file which has been password protected.
I using the open command for the file in question.
I'm getting a positive message telling me to go ahead and put in any password
Excel then fires up and tries to open the file and presents the password entry box.
I add '123'.
Excel tells me this is the incorrect password - asks me whether I have caps lock on etc.
Bottom line is that I am unable to open the file
What is going wrong??
Please repond quickly as I'm keen to get on having spent $29!

Hello,
At the bottom of VBA Password Bypasser windows you can see Log window. This window stores all events which occurred. You can save it to a text file (right-click and select "Save Log File", then select destination). You can also double-click text and it will appear in Notepad - so you can work with it like with common text file (copy, paste, edit, save).
Please, repeat full procedure again and send this log to us…
May be you are trying to open password protected Excel file not file with password protected VBA project.
Please Note: VBA Password Bypasser is able to bypass VBA projects password protection, but not a file password protection.
For example one can set 3 type of password in Word document:
1) Password to open.
2) Password to edit.
3) Included VBA project password.
And VBA Password Bypasser is able to bypass third one only. |

It was password protected Excel file, but not an Excel file with password protected VBA project.
We are sorry that we somehow cause confusion.
File was forwarded to Password Recovery Service Team. |
