Hello,

Are you sure the file is password protected and not main MS Outlook pst file or one of the file attached to your profile, etc?
Could you please try Outlook Password “Find it” functions “list profiles” and “search for pst”.
What is the file size? Is it possible to send it for examination?

Hi,

thanks for your support.

Yes, the file is password protect, i can send you 2 printscreens where the password is asked? If you tell me where to send?

I tried the function "list profiles", here the result:
Profile Name:,"Associated .pst file:","Password:",""
Outlook,"C:\Eigene Dateien\René\Privé\outlook.pst","<file read err>",""
Outlook,"C:\Eigene Dateien\René\Privé\outlook.pst","<file read err>",""

The size is 116 MB !!!![/list]

Hello,

Please, close MS Outlook before running Outlook Password. Your files are opened in MS Outlook and this is the reason for <read error>.
Could you please also send us e-mail at and we will provide you with our ftp address and login information to upload your file. File examination is the best way to know the reason for this problem anyway.

New Outlook Password version 2.0 is available from:
http://www.thegrideon.com/download/opsetup.exe
Password recovery engine was rewritten and file format compatibility enhanced.

If you still have any problems with your file password recovery please download and install the version above.
