Hello,
First, sorry, cause my english is pretty bad!!
I've done all as the procedure after
| Quote: | Procedure:
If system database (MDW) is lost or corrupted, or Admin account doesn't have access to all database elements – you can fix this situation using that fact that you can recover user IDs.
1. Open your database with Access Password - you will see a list of users in this database (non-standard users) and their IDs.
2. Remember a user name and ID (save It to notepad, you can do this by double-clicking the string with username and then copy\paste to notepad).
3. Click OK in dialog box.
4. Open MS Access.
5. Click menu: Tools-Security–Users and groups. Find user you want to recover and delete it, if needed (optional).
6. Create user with the recovered name.
7. Enter recovered ID (use copy\paste) – click OK.
8. User is created.
9. Now close MS Access and Run Access from the command line with the '/user' option, i.e.: MSACCESS.EXE /user.
10. Open your database and enter recovered username and empty password! If it is opened – it's done. |
All ok but for point n°9 : "run access from the command with the '/user' option....' What do you want to say ?
I've tried with these command : "C:\program files.....MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\my database.mdb" /wrkgrp"C:\System.mdw"
A window open with the recovered usename I've entered at n°5 (after deleted it if existing at n° 5)
And I've entered nothing in password.....and clicked ok.
But message is : invalid password or account
I've bought your access password pro yesterday.
Thanks for your answer. |

Hello,
What is your current Workgroup information file path? In order to check it, please use the following procedure:
1) Start MS Access.
2) Click menu Tools > Security > Workgroup Administrator.
3) You will see your current workgroup information file path.
As to command line, you can avoid the use of command line in our procedure by setting admin user password. This way user name and password will be requested without command line use. |

Could you please compress it (zip, rar, etc) and if it still more than 20Mb send us an e-mail to with request for ftp details. Public forum is not a good place to post it |
