Hi i have just got a version (licensed) of the decrypter and have got it running on my word document.
my question is the word document i am trying to decrypt is quite old and is most definitely created by an old version of Office (i created it on my old pc running win 98...i think it was Office 97...cant be later than office 2000).
I currently have office xp on my machine but since i created the password on old office can i just choose a office 97/2000 decrypting option? as the old office has only 40 bit crypting codes and will take shorter time to decrypt ... currently it estimates it at 25 days.
Also as the drcyption is running at the very top line it says:
Program started succesfuly (Trial version 1.3)
even though I put in the registered name and license key after running the program.
is this normal?
thanks
regards
m khaki. |

1) WordDecryptor is designed to auto-adjust in order to gain maximum speed of key search. But this tool speed is very processor specific. 25 days seems like Pentium III 600 or 700, or your computer is busy doing some other tasks.
2) As to registration: Have you restarted WordDecryptor after registration? If not – it is OK, log screen just indicates that WordDecryptor was started as trial version. You will see registered version status next time you run WordDecryptor. |
